Ergonomist
Melissa is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist with the UC Human Factors and Ergonomics Program (part of the University of California San Francisco and Berkeley). Here she serves as an industry consultant, student mentor, and instructor in graduate training courses. Working with the University of California's Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH), she is also the director of the Online Ergonomics Certificate Program. Melissa has worked as an ergonomics practitioner in the San Francisco bay area for over 20 years, kicking off her career with a BioResource/ Agricultural Engineering degree from Cal Poly SLO and a Master's degree in Human Factors/Ergonomics Engineering from San Jose State University.
